Trademark Guidelines
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
These guidelines explain how you may and may not use Candle’s trademarks, logos, and brand assets. They are referenced in section 15 of the Terms of Service.
Candle’s marks
Section titled “Candle’s marks”Candle’s marks include, without limitation:
- CANDLE and CANDLE.TV
- 7 CANDLESTICKS
- $CNDL and CNDL
- WALLET IQ
- BELIEVER NFT, CANDLE ELITE
- the Candle logo, wordmark, candle device, and trade dress
These are owned by 7 Candlesticks, Inc. Nothing here transfers any right in them to you.
What you may do without permission
Section titled “What you may do without permission”You may use the word marks in plain text, at ordinary size and weight, to refer accurately to Candle:
- to say that you trade, stream, or launched a token on Candle;
- to link to candle.tv or a page on it;
- in factual news reporting, commentary, review, or comparison;
- to describe compatibility or integration accurately — “works with Candle,” not “Candle-approved.”
When you do:
- use the mark as an adjective, not a noun or verb — “the Candle platform,” not “a Candle” or “to Candle”;
- spell and capitalise it correctly;
- do not make it more prominent than your own name; and
- make clear that your project is yours, not ours.
Believer NFT holders may display the NFT artwork personally and non-commercially under the licence in the Believer NFT Terms.
What you may not do
Section titled “What you may not do”You may not, without written permission:
- use Candle’s logo, wordmark, or trade dress in your own materials, site, app, or product;
- use a Candle mark in your product name, company name, app name, or domain name — including confusingly similar variants and misspellings;
- register a domain, social handle, or account containing a Candle mark;
- suggest sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, affiliation, verification, or approval by Candle;
- modify a Candle mark — recolour it, distort it, animate it, or combine it with other elements;
- use a Candle mark in merchandise, NFTs, or anything you sell;
- use a Candle mark in advertising, including paid search, in a way likely to confuse;
- use a Candle mark in a way that disparages Candle or associates it with unlawful, deceptive, or offensive content.
Tokens
Section titled “Tokens”Community and fan content
Section titled “Community and fan content”We like community content. Fan art, guides, tutorials, videos, and community groups referring to Candle are welcome, provided you:
- make clear you are not Candle, and are not speaking for Candle;
- do not use Candle’s logo as your own avatar, icon, or brand;
- do not monetise Candle’s marks or artwork; and
- do not use the marks in a way that could mislead someone into thinking your project is official — particularly anything asking for funds, keys, or wallet connections.
Never use Candle’s brand in anything that solicits funds or wallet connections. That is how phishing works, and we will treat it as such.
Third-party marks
Section titled “Third-party marks”Marks belonging to others — including Solana, Robinhood, Meteora, Jupiter, Uniswap, Privy, and Relay — belong to their owners. Their appearance on Candle is descriptive and does not imply endorsement of Candle by them, or of them by Candle.
Requesting permission and reporting misuse
Section titled “Requesting permission and reporting misuse”Write to legal@candle.tv, starting your subject line with:
TRADEMARK PERMISSION— to request permission, brand assets, or press useTRADEMARK— to report misuse of Candle’s marks
To report misuse, include the URL or token address, a description of the use, and why you believe it is misleading.
Changes
Section titled “Changes”Candle may update these guidelines and may withdraw any permission previously granted. Candle reserves all rights in its marks not expressly granted here.
