Streaming, Videos & Tipping
Candle is a media platform as much as a launchpad. Streams, replays and the tokens they are about live in the same interface.
Streaming
Section titled “Streaming”Streaming on Candle is invite-only. Approved creators and approved launches can broadcast to the whole platform. Candle may announce live streams through configured community channels; it does not guarantee that every user receives a notification.
The token sits beside the stream rather than in another tab — viewers can trade while they watch.
Streams are ingested and delivered through Cloudflare Stream, and may be simultaneously restreamed to X.
Becoming a creator
Section titled “Becoming a creator”Creators apply through the streamer application flow. Approval is at Candle’s discretion and considers, among other things, linked social accounts and audience. Approved creators are bound by the Creator Agreement and the Community Guidelines.
Exclusive segments
Section titled “Exclusive segments”A creator can mark portions of a stream as exclusive. Those segments are visible only to wallets holding a Believer NFT, live and in the replay.
Videos
Section titled “Videos”Every past stream is archived and available on demand. Exclusive segments stay gated in the archive exactly as they were live.
Viewers can clip moments and share them.
Streams and token pages have live chat. Chat is moderated under the Community Guidelines; Candle can remove messages and ban accounts.
Chat messages are stored, and removed messages are retained separately for moderation and abuse-handling purposes.
Tipping
Section titled “Tipping”Viewers can tip creators during a broadcast. Tips can be sent in SOL or in SPL tokens.
Tips are direct, on-chain, wallet-to-wallet transfers. Candle does not hold, route, or process tip funds — the transaction goes straight from your wallet to the creator’s. Candle verifies the transaction on-chain afterwards and records it so the tip appears in chat.
Consequences worth understanding:
- Tips are irreversible. Once the transaction confirms, Candle cannot reverse it, refund it, or recover it.
- Tips are not payments for goods or services, and no refund is available.
- Creators are responsible for their own taxes on tips received.
